Description and itinerary
At La Garganta, we’ve come up with the perfect plan for mountain lovers: a Full Moon Via Ferrata 2026 in El Chorro: a night-time adventure alongside the Caminito del Rey for unforgettable summer evenings.
If you’re one of those people with an adventurous spirit and you want to enjoy a unique experience, you simply mustn’t miss out on trying this activity under the light of the full moon.
Even if you’ve already been to El Chorro or the Caminito del Rey, you won’t be able to enjoy the surroundings quite as much as you will on this occasion.
A unique thrill reserved for summer days: The confirmed dates are 29 July, 28 and 29 August 2026. Are you going to miss out on your place? Places are limited and go to those who are quickest to secure them.
The activity takes place on the Chorro Via Ferrata with professional guides, approved equipment and all necessary safety measures in place, in a unique natural setting in Andalusia.
The El Chorro via ferrata route stretches for 650 metres from start to finish. Although this may sound short, the route becomes more challenging with a vertical ascent of 250 metres. Along the way, there is a thrilling 35-metre zip line, as well as a Tibetan-style suspension bridge and a Nepalese-style bridge.
Via ferratas are classified according to their level of difficulty on a scale ranging from K1, the easiest, to K6, the most demanding. The El Chorro via ferrata is rated K3, taking into account its total length. However, if we assess its difficulty based solely on the technical obstacles, it would be rated K2.
