The experience continues with the exciting K2-K3 via ferrata in Atajate, where you’ll cross two bridges – one Tibetan and one Nepalese. To finish off, we’ll head to the white village of Gaucín and tackle the final via ferrata: the K3-level Castillo del Águila, to take the adrenaline rush up a notch, with nothing less than crossing three bridges – a 20-metre Tibetan bridge and two suspension bridges of 10 and 20 metres – and whizzing down a 30-metre zip line. Combining adrenaline, dreamlike landscapes and the charm of the white villages.

The activity is available at three levels of difficulty (K1, K2 and K3), making it ideal for both beginners and more experienced adventurers. You’ll be accompanied at all times by a certified professional guide, who’ll ensure your safety, enjoyment and confidence at every stage of the route.

If this is your first time on a via ferrata, the best way to get started is with the spectacular views of the famous Tajo de Ronda. This K1-K2-rated via ferrata is designed for beginners and takes about an hour to complete. The route is short, straightforward and very well equipped, allowing you to progress safely right from the start. During the activity, you’ll make your way along at a leisurely pace, enjoying the views of the town of Ronda and building your confidence. The starting point for the 3 via ferrata circuit will be the Sports Centre located at the entrance to Ronda, where you’ll find free parking for your convenience.

By Car

From Málaga, take the A-357 towards Campillos and continue on the A-367 to Ronda. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. You can park for free at the Sports Centre, which is the starting point for the activity.

By train

You can take a Medium-Distance train to Ronda from Málaga María Zambrano station. The journey takes around 2 hours and, from the station, it’s only a few minutes’ taxi ride to the Sports Centre.

By bus

There are daily services from Málaga bus station to Ronda. The journey takes between 2 and 2 hours and 30 minutes, and from Ronda station you can easily reach the Sports Centre by taxi or a short walk.

2. Presa de los Caballeros Via Ferrata (K2, 83 m): in Montejaque, within an abandoned dam, featuring a fun Tibetan bridge and a zip line.

3. Benaoján Via Ferrata (K3, 90 m): the highest and most scenic, with views that will take your breath away.

Between each section, we’ll walk along nature trails and visit iconic sites such as the Cueva del Hundidero. After the second via ferrata, we’ll stop for lunch to recharge our batteries.

To get the most out of the activity, we recommend:
• Comfortable, closed-toe shoes
• A light rucksack with water and a snack
• Something to eat for lunch
You only need to be in reasonably good physical shape to complete the route safely.

The 3 via ferrata circuit takes 6–7 hours to complete. Each via ferrata takes approximately 60–90 minutes to complete.

The Tajo De Ronda via ferrata takes 1 hour to complete.

What is not included?

The starting point will be the Sports Centre at the entrance to Ronda, where there is free parking. You just need to be in reasonably good physical shape to complete the route safely.

We recommend that you bring:

Something to eat for lunch

Change of plans? No problem. You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the activity. After this deadline, or if you do not turn up for the activity, a refund will not be possible.
