At La Garganta, we want the reservation process to be clear and simple.
To complete any reservation, you must provide at least the following:
- Full name
- Contact phone number
- Email address
Depending on the service booked, you may be asked to provide a credit card as a guarantee or to make a full or partial advance payment for the reservation.

Payment Terms
The total cost of the stay will be paid at check-in.
Cancellation Policy
- Free cancellation up to 72 hours before arrival.
- Cancellations made less than 72 hours in advance: a charge equivalent to one night’s stay.
- Cancellation on the day of arrival or no-show: 100% charge of the stay.
Group Reservations (+5 rooms)
Payment Terms
- 50% of the total amount upon booking.
- Full payment one week before the arrival date.
Cancellation Policy
- More than 25 days before arrival: no charge.
- Between 25 and 3 days prior: 50% of the total amount will be charged.
- Less than 3 days prior or no-show: 100% of the total amount will be charged.

Important Information: La Garganta Restaurant
- Table assignments will be made by the front-of-house staff based on service arrangements.
- Reservations will be held for a maximum of 30 minutes.
Reservations for 8 or more people
Security deposit
- 5 € per person.
- This amount will be deducted from the final bill.
Refund Policy
- Cancellation before 10:00 a.m. on the same day: full refund.
- Later cancellation or no-show: the deposit is non-refundable.
Special Events
Tasting dinners, acoustic dinners, and similar experiences.

- Full payment in advance.
- Free cancellation up to 72 hours before the event.

- 50% upon confirmation of the reservation.
- Remaining balance due 72 hours before the event.

Additional Information
- The meal will begin at the agreed-upon time with the attendees present.
- Delays may affect the flow of service.
- Absent attendees will be considered a “no-show.”
- Allergies and intolerances must be reported at the time of booking.
- Table assignments will be made by the dining room staff.

Reservation Terms
- Full payment is required at the time of booking.
- Free changes or cancellations are allowed up to 24 hours in advance.
Cancellation Policy
- Less than 24 hours in advance: no cancellations or refunds will be accepted.
- In the event of an official closure of Caminito del Rey for safety reasons, a date change or refund will be offered.
Additional Information
- Minimum age: 8 years old.
- Meeting point: Reception at La Garganta Hotel, south entrance to Caminito del Rey next to the El Chorro-Caminito del Rey train station.

Cancellation Policy
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours in advance.
- Less than 24 hours in advance: no refund.
Safety
- If La Garganta Activa cancels the activity for safety reasons, the amount paid will be refunded.
- If the activity is interrupted after it has begun, no refund will be issued.
- Voluntarily leaving the activity does not entitle you to a refund.
Activities with a Private Guide
The service includes
- Personalized attention.
- Customized itinerary.
- Guidance throughout the activity.
- Cultural, historical, and tourist information.
- Service in the agreed-upon language.
Cancellation Policy
- More than 7 days: 100% refund.
- Between 7 days and 72 hours: 50% refund.
- Less than 72 hours or no-show: no refund.
Force Majeure
In justified situations supported by documentation, La Garganta Activa will evaluate each case individually and may offer:
- Date change.
- Partial refund.
- Full refund.
Private Guide Reservation
External Services and Caminito del Rey
- Tickets for Caminito del Rey are refundable only in the event of an official closure for safety reasons.
- Contracted external services, such as guides, shuttles, or other complementary services, may be canceled at no cost with more than 7 days’ notice.
- With less than 7 days’ notice, a charge of 100% of the contracted amount will apply.
Gift Cards
To purchase a gift card:
- Purchaser’s information.
- Recipient’s information.
- Advance payment.
- Mailing address for delivery of the physical card.
Terms of Use
- Advance reservation required.
- Subject to availability.
- Must be presented along with the request form.
- Not redeemable for cash.
- Cannot be exchanged for other services.
- Valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.
